The only interesting male character in this series is Neelam's husband and actor Samir Soni, who doesn't shy away from admitting that he has no social skills and zero patience for Bollywood parties. Shah Rukh Khan in his charming way talks about how he is happy to call the children of the four women their own. Did we tell you that Gauri Khan is the binding factor for the fabulous four? Well, this is what they say on the show.

And when their job is done, the hosts make themselves available to talk about the fabulous four ladies in a separate room. From the looks of it, it appears the party was thrown to accommodate more celebrities who couldn't make it to the series otherwise. The real grand finale of The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives is the party hosted by Gauri Khan at her design studio.

Karan Johar's meeting with the four ladies at a helipad, where he again hijacks the series and turns it into a talk show, is nothing short of a reality show grand finale in itself. (L-R) Maheep Kapoor, Neelam Kothari, Bhavana Pandey and Seema Khan create their own Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara moment in Doha. Much Bollywoody, isn't it? Well, what were you expecting? There, they become victims of stalking - to ultimately find out that the stalker just wants to work with Neelam for an advertisement. The four women are then shown to go on a trip to Doha on their own. Sanjay Kapoor and Chunky Panday have been given enough time to rant about how they have managed to be in the industry and "survive on their own" despite all obstacles and without winning any awards. There's an episode on trolling as well, and how the families deal with the question of nepotism. From Shanaya Kapoor attending Le Bal des Debutante in Paris to how proud Ananya Panday and her parents are after she wins the Best Debut Filmfare Award, the show becomes more about people who have already been written about. Either they are talking about attending Gauri Khan's grand party and preparing for it, or listening to their kids and husbands.
Bollywood wives professional#
The show focuses on the forced glitz and glamour in the life of the Bollywood wives and turns a blind eye of sorts to their 'mundane lives' as they tackle their personal and professional commitments.
